Terms

These terms cover this website. They do not cover the product. Any supply of an instrument, software or service runs under a separate written agreement, which takes precedence over anything here.

How to read the grading claims

The system assigns grades by machine, from measured optical, spectral and dimensional signals. It is an instrument, not a gemmological laboratory, and its output is not a laboratory report. Where value or a filing turns on a grade, treat the record as a measurement and apply your own commercial judgement.

Where the system identifies a stone as laboratory grown, it records it as laboratory grown, in that wording. Disclosure at the point of sale remains the seller’s obligation under the FTC Jewelry Guides at 16 CFR Part 23.

The documents shown on this site

The grading report and the due diligence statement on the home page are specimens, marked as such on their face. They illustrate the records the system writes. Neither describes a real stone or a real shipment, and neither is a valid certificate or a valid statement.

Forward looking statements
